Xiao Xiao walked into the elevator without looking to either side.
Li Yan didn't care about the curious looks people leaving the elevator gave him, either.
Seeing Master Xiao step into the elevator, he followed right after him.
By the time Xiao Xiao and Li Yan reached the library entrance, Song Chuxia had already been waiting for a while.
When she saw Master Xiao, a delighted smile spread across her face.
"Master Xiao."
"How did you get here so quickly?"
Li Yan was a little surprised.
On the phone, she had said she was almost there...
But he hadn't expected Song Chuxia to arrive even sooner than they could walk from the library to the entrance.
Song Chuxia smiled.
She'd spent the whole ride urging the driver to hurry.
When they reached the intersection and hit a red light, she'd gotten straight out and run the rest of the way.
She didn't know why she'd been in such a rush...
When she arrived, Master Xiao wasn't there...
She'd been anxious.
But at the same time, she was a little relieved that Master Xiao and the others hadn't seen her panting and out of breath.
"Master Xiao."
Song Chuxia looked as though she wanted to say something but couldn't quite bring herself to.
She glanced around.
Since they were near the library, there weren't many people around.
And with the weather bitterly cold,
there were even fewer.
She let out a small breath of relief.
"Master Xiao, you..."
Xiao Xiao smiled faintly.
"There's a café nearby."
"Let's talk there."
"All right."
Now that she'd seen Master Xiao, Song Chuxia realized that her anxious heart had somehow begun to settle.
Had it happened the moment she first saw him?
Song Chuxia was a little dazed.
