He'd always thought monsters were supposed to be huge and intimidating...
"Feifei and the others aren't big."
Zhao Luzheng was dissatisfied with Zhang Bo's poor memory.
After he'd unexpectedly seen a monster, he'd described what the monsters around Third Brother looked like to Zhang Bo and Zhuge Yun.
Though that was only because they'd kept pestering him with questions.
"Oh, right."
Zhang Bo nodded.
"But this monster's still smaller, right?"
Zhuge Yun's gaze fell on Little White Fox.
"The monsters around Third Brother are about the same size as A Jiu, right?"
"Feifei and A Jiu look a little alike."
Zhao Luzheng tried to recall what the monster from his memories had looked like.
"But Taotie is even smaller."
Zhao Luzheng gestured with his hand to show Taotie's size.
"Though Taotie looks a little bigger because he's so chubby."
After all, in their minds, little sprites were all slender.
Taotie, on the other hand, was the very image of a glutton.
Taotie lazily opened his eyes.
He glared at Zhao Luzheng, clearly displeased.
"Grr!"
How dare he!
Calling him chubby?!
His build was clearly mighty and imposing!
Zhao Luzheng suddenly shivered.
"What are you doing?"
Zhuge Yun gave Zhao Luzheng a puzzled look.
"Why'd you suddenly shiver?"
Zhao Luzheng looked completely baffled.
He rubbed his arm. "I don't know."
"My body just moved on its own."
"Pfft."
Zhang Bo grinned.
"What was that? Looked like your foot suddenly cramped up..."
Zhao Luzheng looked around.
He didn't see anything unusual.
So he let go of his questions about why he'd suddenly shivered.
Maybe his body had just twitched on its own...
"It's about time."
Xiao Xiao checked his watch.
"Let's go get dinner."
