Xiao Xiao looked at Bo Bo with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
He thought his umbrella was big enough.
It could just about fit a fairly large monster, too.
Bo Bo blinked.
It did as Lord Xiao Xiao had said without thinking.
It wasn't until it had walked beneath the umbrella that it realized what it had done.
It looked up at the canopy.
Then its eyes wandered around, taking in the cramped space beneath the umbrella.
"Ribbit, ribbit."
The Frog God spoke.
Lord Xiao Xiao didn't need to worry about them.
Getting a little wet wouldn't do them any harm.
Especially not him.
As for Bo Bo, though it didn't like the feeling of its fur getting wet,
that was all.
It was nothing serious.
Unlike humans, they wouldn't catch a cold and get sick from the rain.
Xiao Xiao smiled faintly.
He started walking.
"It's fine."
"There's enough room."
"It's only for a little while."
Since Lord Xiao Xiao had said so, the Frog God said no more and accepted his kindness.
Seeing that his friend had fallen silent, Bo Bo closed its mouth too.
It wasn't good with words.
Most of the time, it simply followed its friend around.
Except when it couldn't help it... in other words, when it got scared.
It really couldn't manage to do what its friend asked right away.
Xiao Xiao headed toward the school gate.
As they went, more and more students appeared around them.
Some cast discreetly curious glances at Xiao Xiao's odd way of holding his umbrella.
It looked as though he were holding it over someone beside him.
But he was clearly alone.
Why was he leaving most of the space beneath the umbrella empty?
Their curiosity wasn't enough
