The little boy's mother immediately let go of his hand.
Then she reached out and gently rubbed his thin back, once after another.
"Are you all right?"

"Sorry, Mom. I got a little too worked up."

He took a few deep breaths.
The furrow in his brow relaxed.

Once he had recovered, the little boy brought it up again. "She really was lying!"
He felt both hurt and angry that his mother didn't believe him.
He was telling the truth!
"I wasn't lying!"
The little girl stomped her foot in anger.

She pointed at the little boy. "You..."
The little girl searched her memory for the right word.
At last, she found one.
"You're slandering me!"
"Pfft~"
One of the onlookers couldn't hold back a laugh.

A little kid pointing at another little kid and solemnly accusing her of slandering him...
