He didn't disturb the Pipa ghost.
He walked over to the table and chairs in the middle of the garden.
Then he set down the bag in his hand.
After who knew how long, the Pipa ghost came back to its senses.
It looked around.
The sight of no one in sight made its heart leap.

It started walking.
Its bare feet stepped on the petals.
It picked up speed.

Pushing aside the lush branches and enormous flowers in front of it, the Pipa ghost suddenly froze.
Hearing the commotion, Xiao Xiao turned his head.
"You're here."
Xiao Xiao smiled.
"Come over and sit down. Have some snacks."
Xiao Xiao had already filled the table with the desserts he'd bought.
There were drinks, too.
Fortunately, for ease of carrying, Xiao Xiao had bought an even number of drinks—six cups instead of five.
The extra cup had originally been for the little Taotie, of course.
