It wasn't until a cat's meow broke the silence of Xuan Gui's space.
Xuan Gui was very lazy.
Unless something interested him, he wouldn't spare it so much as a glance.
He was a little surprised that the little cat could see him.
If those few white magnolias hadn't been there, he might have been more interested in the little cat.
But with the white magnolias setting the bar so high, the little cat seemed utterly ordinary.

It kept meowing.
It circled around him.
It even bumped and scratched at him.
