Park Entrance
A little soup splashed out.
The mushroom-haired little girl furrowed her brow instinctively.
But her thoughts were still on the news her mom had just told her.
She seemed completely dazed.
"Anna!"
Child's Mom immediately grabbed a few napkins and helped wipe the girl's clothes.
"Did you get burned?"
Child's Mom looked at her with concern.
She'd known Anna would react strongly to the news.
That was why she'd waited until Anna had almost finished eating before telling her.
Otherwise...
Anna probably wouldn't have been able to eat at all.
The mushroom-haired little girl shook her head.
She was fine.
She looked at her mom, confused. "Mom."
"In a little while..."
"Will I get to see Lulu?"
"That's right."
Child's Mom checked carefully and saw that the soup had only splashed onto Anna's clothes without soaking through to her skin.
She let out a relieved breath.
"Didn't Anna really want to see Lulu?"
Child's Mom tucked a strand of hair that had fallen over Anna's forehead behind her ear.
The mushroom-haired little girl looked a little stiff.
She really did want to see Lulu.
But...
She hadn't expected it to happen so soon...
At the very least...
She'd thought it would be tomorrow, right?
"Does Anna not want to see Lulu anymore?"
Child's Mom teased, "Then I'll call Lulu's mom now and tell them they don't have to go out after all."
"No!"
The mushroom-haired little girl answered at once.
It wasn't that she didn't want to see Lulu.
She was just...
A little scared.
"Anna."
Child's Mom gently patted the girl's head.
"Didn't Anna have lots of things she wanted to say to Lulu?"
"Don't be afraid."
"You have to believe that Lulu is probably feeling just like you right
