A knack for fishing?
The owner wanted to laugh, but somehow couldn't quite manage it.
What was wrong?
A knack for fishing was pretty impressive, too.
Anyway, however you looked at it, he'd met an expert today.
Luckily, he'd reacted quickly.
His sense of danger was sharp.
He'd avoided the risk of having his entire stall cleaned out just in time.
Thinking about it...
The owner still felt rather proud of himself.
He really was a clever man.
All right.
Since it was something as intangible as a feel for the game...
The girl pursed her lips in disappointment.
The others did, too.
It wasn't something they could learn and master.
A so-called feel for the game...
As they understood it, it required either long-term practice or... a sudden flash of inspiration...
Long-term practice at fishing?
Hmm.
They didn't think that was necessary.
It was only a little game.
It wasn't worth investing that much time.
A sudden flash of inspiration?
That was even less something they could control.
So, in conclusion...
There was nothing they could do.
They could only hope that one day they, too, would have a similar flash of inspiration.
The crowd watching dispersed.
Xiao Xiao looked at the owner.
"What are you looking at?"
The owner eyed him warily.
Xiao Xiao raised an eyebrow.
"Boss."
Xiao Xiao almost laughed. "Why do you seem so wary of me?"
The owner froze.
Then he stubbornly denied it. "Am I?"
"No."
"Why would I be wary of you?"
"No."
The owner shook his head.
An awkward stiffness crept into his expression.
Was he really being that obvious?
Xiao Xiao smiled.
"Good."
"I think I'm a very amiable person."
"I look like a good guy."
"Why would you be wary of me?"
