Chapter 5886: Arrival at the Station
Grandma Xu and Qian Qian always had so much to talk about.
Xiao Chen knew the place like the back of her hand and took Grandma Xu to several of the zoo's most popular animal exhibits.
Since it was a regular workday, there weren't many visitors at the zoo.
There were hardly any lines at the popular exhibits.
The panda exhibit was the only one with a bigger crowd.
After asking what Grandma Xu preferred, Xiao Chen planned their route and decided how to use the photos very thoughtfully.
After all, they only had six Polaroid photos left.
But that was okay.
They could buy more Polaroid film at the zoo.
At last, with the sun setting, Grandma Xu and Xiao Chen returned to the reptile house.
Grandma Xu went alone to the exhibit hall with the red-eyed python.
Xiao Chen went back to her post to do a good job.
"Qian Qian."
Grandma Xu beamed.
"I'm back."
The red-eyed python rested its head gently against the glass.
Its red, vertical pupils gazed quietly at Grandma Xu.
Grandma Xu took out the photos.
"Look."
She held a photo up to the glass.
It was almost pressed against the window.
"This is a photo of you and me."
"Can you see it?"
Grandma Xu's features relaxed.
She looked a little moved, a little excited.
Her voice was soft.
She didn't want to disturb anyone else.
Grandma Xu showed the red-eyed python every photo.
Even the ones she'd taken after leaving the reptile house.
"Qian Qian."
"Look."
"A giant panda."
"Isn't it cute?"
"Of course, in my heart, you're the cutest, Qian Qian."
Grandma Xu said with a smile.
"This little sea lion is really impressive."
