Two Little Foxes

The cut-up fruit was already laid out on the coffee table.

"Student Xiao, have some fruit first."

"Dinner will be ready soon."

Auntie Yu welcomed Xiao Xiao.

"Little Bell, stay here and keep Big Brother company."

Auntie Yu crouched down to look at the child. "Daddy just went to the kitchen."

"Mommy has to go to the kitchen now, too."

"Little Bell, you're the host."

"As the host, you have to take good care of your guest, understand?"

"Mm-hmm."

Little Bell nodded firmly, looking serious, as if she'd just been given an important mission.

But seeing such an expression on a child's face was somehow quite amusing.
