But she noticed that Ruan Xinyan's expression hadn't improved at all. If anything, it looked even worse.

"Let's go look at the heavy rain by the window."

Yu Baozhu eagerly agreed.
The two of them got up and ran to the window.
Yu Baozhu hesitated, then invited Ruan Xinyan, who was sitting motionless on the sofa. "Ruan Xinyan, come look at the rain with us."

She reached out and took the hand he had offered her.

Yu Baozhu pressed her face close to the glass, watching the world outside, blurred by the heavy mist.
Raindrops pelted the window with a "pitter-patter."
The howling wind could be heard faintly, making a mournful, wailing sound.

Little Bell hurried over to Xiao Xiao and tugged at his sleeve, her face full of worry. "It's raining so hard—"
