"Ribbit?"
The Frog God tilted its head at Xiao Xiao, unable to understand why they weren't continuing their search for Bo Bo on the streets and had come to this building instead.
"Did you hear what they just said?"
Xiao Xiao spotted the elevator not far away.
The freight elevator was probably nearby, too, wasn't it?
The Frog God grew even more confused.
"I just have a hunch."
Xiao Xiao walked past the elevator and circled around to the back.
Sure enough, a faint smile appeared on his face.
The freight elevators were in the back.
There were two freight elevators.
A sign saying one was under maintenance hung outside one of them.
It was still early, before work hours, and this was the freight elevator area, so there was no one else around.
Xiao Xiao walked up to the elevator marked as under maintenance and stopped. He looked up at the floor display, making no further move.
The Frog God looked back and forth between Xiao Xiao and the floor numbers he was watching, its face full of question marks.
But it didn't say anything.
It had a feeling that soon it would learn why Lord Xiao Xiao was acting this way.
When the button for the first floor lit up, Xiao Xiao called softly, "Bo Bo."
"Bang~"
A collision sounded from inside the elevator.
"Ribbit~"
The Frog God jolted and whipped around to face the elevator doors, letting out a loud croak.
Though the elevator had already gone up, Xiao Xiao and the Frog God could still hear the muffled sounds of something banging inside.
"Found you."
Xiao Xiao chuckled.
So it was in the elevator?!
What an unexpected hiding place.
No wonder the Hundun had found nothing in the air, and neither
