Xiao Xiao walked a few steps forward and stopped in front of a door. He knocked and went into the dormitory.
After watching the door close, Li Yan stood there in a daze for a while.
"Hey, Li Yan, what are you standing in the doorway for?"
The guy who happened to be coming out of the room was startled by the shadow in the doorway. When he looked closer and saw it was Li Yan, he couldn't help complaining, "You scared me to death! Do you know that?"
"Sorry, I was thinking about something."
Li Yan gave an awkward grin, then pursed his lips. "But you're a grown man. Is it really okay to be that timid?"
"This has nothing to do with whether I'm timid or not, okay?"
The guy rolled his eyes at him.
"I thought there was no one outside the door. Then I opened it and saw a shadow standing right in front of me. Anyone would've jumped."
"Fine, fine, I was in the wrong."
Li Yan apologized with a smile. "You've got somewhere to be, right? Why aren't you leaving?"
"Oh, right."
The guy came to his senses. "You made me late."
Li Yan shrugged as he watched the guy stride away, feeling that he really hadn't done anything wrong.
He went into the dormitory and turned to close the door.
Before closing it, his gaze unconsciously lingered for a moment on the door to Dormitory 417.
He murmured, "Today... I really found out a lot..."
"Hey, Third Brother, you're back?"
Zhang Bo opened the door and saw Xiao Xiao. He stepped aside with a smile.
"Third Brother, did you take care of things?"
Zhao Luzheng put down the book in his hands and looked over.
"Yeah."
Xiao Xiao headed toward his
