Water 7 waterfront.
Reiner and Luffy walked in front, while Nami and Usopp trailed half a step behind on either side of them.
Bringing up the rear were the Blue and Red Ogres, carrying huge bags of gold on their shoulders.
The group crossed a bridge connecting the waterfront to the city gate and entered a district lined with Gothic-style buildings.
The most eye-catching of them was an enormous storefront. Reiner looked up at its sign.
Blue Rental
"Blue?" A question mark popped up over Luffy's head.
"Blue... um, how should I put it?"
Reiner stroked his chin, trying to find the right words. "They're basically things that swim in the water—"
"Anyone here?! I want to rent a Blue!!"
Before Reiner could finish, Luffy shouted and strode into the shop on his own.
"At least let me finish!!"
"Honestly..." Reiner sighed and followed him inside.
The shop's front room was not very large, and no one was at the counter. They could only faintly hear the voice of a middle-aged man coming from the back.
"Anyone there? We want to rent a Blue!"
Reiner called inside. When there was no response after a moment, he shouted again, "If no one's here, I'm stealing something!!"
"Hey, wait a second, you bastard~~"
A rough voice drew closer. Before long, a man in a striped floral shirt came running out in a panic.
The owner stared wide-eyed at Reiner's group. "Hey, what are you here for?!"
"Huh? What else would you do here besides rent Blues?" Reiner asked in confusion.
"Uh..." The owner was suddenly speechless. "Ahem, ahem. I was feeding the Blues in the back just now. You're outsiders, aren't you?"
"Yeah, we're pirates," Luffy said bluntly with a toothy grin.
"What?!"
