Night fell, dark clouds veiled the moon, and the bustling city from daytime grew quiet. Lights glowed in countless homes, while few pedestrians remained on the streets.
The approaching Aqua Laguna had left the city restless and uneasy.
Dock 1 was brightly lit. The shipwrights had all gone home, leaving the vast shipyard silent and empty, with only the lights still shining.
Deep within the dockyard was an entrance leading to a typical European-style mansion. Several men in black stormed out from inside.
This was the headquarters of the Galley-La Company, as well as the residence of Water 7's mayor, Iceburg.
In a spacious study, Iceburg was reading through report after report on his desk. Some concerned Galley-La Company's recent business deals, while others detailed the progress of the Aqua Laguna evacuation plan.
Behind him, a wanted poster hung on the wall. If anyone from the Straw Hat Crew were here, they would certainly recognize it.
