"No wonder he had a bounty of over five hundred million."
At the edge of the forest, a gigantic bat hung upside down from a branch. Strangely, it had a human head, and with its wings folded, it was hard to tell what species it even was.
Watching the man below effortlessly defeat Cerberus, the bat man could not help but sigh.
"Whether it's the animal zombies in the forest or the soldier zombies in the graveyard near the castle, they're probably useless. An opponent of this level can't be defeated by numbers alone."
Huff! Huff!
As he spoke, he released the branch with his feet and flapped his wings, preparing to fly toward the castle. "I need to hurry back and tell Doctor Hogback. Without the Zombie Generals, we can't take down this group."
"You mentioned Doctor Hogback just now, didn't you?"
"Ah!!!"
The sudden voice nearly scared Hildon's heart out. He whipped around, only to find that the man who had defeated Cerberus had somehow grabbed his foot!
The man suddenly exerted force, tightly gripped his leg, and flung him downward. Hildon immediately lost control of his body as his entire figure plummeted toward the ground.
Bang!
Hildon fell like an arrow loosed from a bow, smashing heavily into the ground and sending cracks racing through the earth as rubble and dust flew everywhere.
He struggled with all four limbs but could no longer stand. Though he could not feel pain, his uncontrollable body told him that he was practically falling apart.
He painfully lifted his head and saw only three people and a raccoon dog surrounding him, inspecting and discussing him.
"What is this thing?"
"A bat man. Bat-man. Batman."
"He seems seriously injured. He's covered in stitches."
