After several days of drifting through the sky, Weatheria finally arrived above the Sabaody Archipelago.
At this moment, a group of old men stood at the island's edge to see Reiner and Nami off.
"Goodbye, young man, young lady."
"Have a pleasant journey."
"Come visit whenever you have time, you two."
Two years had flown by. Reiner and Nami's arrival had brought these "empty-nest elders" some not-so-warm companionship.
Summoning the falcon and jumping onto its back, Reiner turned and smiled. "Take care of yourselves, everyone. Don't let us come back next time only to visit your graves."
"Say something nice, idiot!"
Smack!
Nami smacked him on the head irritably, then climbed aboard with Piss and waved goodbye to Haredas and the others.
"We're leaving, everyone."
Then, beneath everyone's reluctant gazes, the falcon flapped its wings and departed from the place where they had lived for two years.
"Ahh, we finally got rid of those two little devils."
Haredas lowered his head with a sigh, stroked his snowy white beard, and shuffled back to his empty home.
The master bedroom where Reiner and the others had stayed had been cleaned spotless.
"How strange. It suddenly feels lonely."
Looking at the empty room, Haredas slowly returned to the guest room, intending to move his belongings over.
When he opened the door, a folded sheet of white paper fell from the crack.
"Hm?" Haredas bent down to pick it up and unfolded it curiously. It read:
Leave the master bedroom for us, old geezer. If you die early, remember to write a will and transfer the house to my name.
—Reiner.
"You bastard! You've even got your eyes on my house!"
Bang!
Haredas blew his beard and glared as he tossed the letter into the trash, slammed the door, and went to sleep.
