Fish-Man Island's central plaza.
Surrounded by cliffs, the tops of those cliffs were now packed with people.
Aside from those imprisoned, every civilian on Fish-Man Island had just been gathered here by Hody.
A sea of heads crowded together, watching the king and his three sons chained to the execution platform below.
They had been hung there for two days, without food or water, tortured day and night.
At the entrance to the plaza below, enclosed by the cliffs, Hody emerged surrounded by his officers.
At the sight of him, some people atop the cliffs clenched their fists and glared at Hody in fury. Others sobbed quietly, their tears staining their clothes for King Neptune and the others.
They were powerless to resist, but without question, no one supported Hody.
Or rather, anyone who supported Hody had already joined the New Fish-Man Pirates.
"As long as I have those few in my hands, Shirahoshi can't go far."
With a sinister laugh, Hody strode onto the raised platform at the center of the plaza and punched Neptune in the stomach.
Bang!
"Pwah!"
Neptune, already covered in wounds, spat out blood. He weakly raised his eyelids and glared coldly at his attacker.
"Sha ha ha ha!" Rather than getting angry, Hody laughed and gave him a pitying look.
"Our great knight looks quite miserable. Here's some good news to cheer you up: your precious daughter has escaped from Hard-Shell Tower."
"Shirahoshi..." Neptune forced the name through his hoarse throat, a trace of hope appearing in his eyes.
Even in such desperate circumstances, his pure-hearted daughter was the only thing weighing on his mind.
Seeing that, Hody's smile became even more wild. "Now let me give you some bad news. I've decided to execute you all."
"Tell me..." Hody's smile gradually turned icy.
