Moonlight shone into a deep, secluded bamboo forest. Swaying bamboo shadows crisscrossed the ground like black serpents slithering over it. By now, quite a few figures lay scattered throughout the woods.
A small, furry body sat on the ground, leaning against a bamboo stalk and panting heavily.
"Thank you. Thank you, Franky. I thought I was going to die."
Chopper's face was full of exhaustion, and he was filthy from head to toe. Before him lay a mammoth covered in coarse fur, with a pair of enormous tusks.
Jack's massive body had rolled over and collapsed in a pool of blood. His eyes had rolled back, and he had clearly lost consciousness. Two charred holes had pierced through his side, obviously caused by lasers.
After eating a Rumble Ball and transforming into his Monster Point, Chopper's strength had been no weaker than Jack's, and he had thoroughly suppressed him. But the duration was simply too short.
Relying on his formidable defense and vitality, Jack had stubbornly held out until the effects of Chopper's two Rumble Balls had ended, without Chopper managing to take him down. Just as Chopper risked his life by taking a third Rumble Ball, Franky appeared and brought him hope.
With Chopper keeping Jack occupied, Franky's two laser beams finally brought down the already badly wounded Jack.
"No need to thank me, Chopper. Today, I'm super fired up, and you did great."

Franky grinned, one hand braced against his waist as he raised his thick arms over his head and pressed them together.
Seeing Franky strike his signature pose, Chopper could not help smiling as well.
"You seem really happy today, Franky. Where are the others? How is everyone doing?"
"Don't worry. You were the last one to finish. Everyone else won their fights."
