Akainu glared furiously at Luffy. His lower body transformed into erupting magma, propelling him rapidly forward. From dozens of meters away, he threw a punch through the air.
The swelling magma formed into a ferocious canine head. Terrifying heat lurked within its deep crimson color as it opened its savage jaws and bit down.
I can't take that attack head-on.
Luffy's expression darkened as he swiftly leaped backward.
After blocking one of Akainu's attacks earlier, his hands still burned with lingering pain. Luckily, he had used Haki to defend himself immediately. Otherwise, his hands might already have melted.
Boom!!
The magma hound exploded against the ground, spraying massive amounts of magma in every direction. As if alive, it then surged up into a scorching crimson wave and lunged at Luffy.
"This is bad!"
Facing the massive magma wave crashing down from all directions, Luffy furrowed his brows and glanced around. In the end, he could only keep jumping backward to evade it.
Magma was not only difficult to defend against. After exchanging a few moves, Luffy realized that attacking was just as troublesome. There was simply nowhere to strike this guy.
Boom!! Boom!!
The raging wave slammed down ferociously. After Luffy dodged it, more searing red waves rose from the magma flowing across the ground and pursued him.

It was as though the entire street had been baptized by an erupting volcano. Flowing magma covered every inch of it, while immense clouds of steam rose up and made even the air scorching hot.
"Cough, cough!"
Leaping between buildings, Luffy raised a hand to cover his face, his expression grave. The steam filling the area made his windpipe and lungs ache with searing pain every time he breathed.
"Don't think about running, Straw Hat
