Enel raised a hand, and a Lightning Pillar shot straight into the sky. The dark thunderclouds instantly churned and roiled!
Before anyone realized it, the entire island had been covered by thunderclouds, blotting out the sky and sun! Even sunlight could not penetrate them, leaving the world utterly dim.
A fierce wind rose! It made the whole forest rustle, carrying leaves as they rushed toward Reiner.
Flocks of birds took to the air in the forest, while beasts scattered and fled in all directions, as though they had sensed the coming of the apocalypse.
Every survivor on the island could not help but look up at the sky.
Endless thunderclouds blocked all sight. The gale whipped their hair wildly about, and the dark clouds swirled into a vortex like a massive black funnel turning inward!
"Th-this... is the end of the world coming?"
Gan Fall's mouth hung open. His dilated pupils could not tear themselves away from the black cloud vortex as tears gradually welled in the corners of his eyes and slid down his wrinkled face.
"Enel, are you trying to destroy this country?!"
Gan Fall gritted his teeth as he trembled, making his armor rattle. His face was filled with unwillingness as he tightly gripped Pierre's reins. "Pierre! We're going to Angel Island!"
