Qian Renxue was the Angel God ten thousand years before the story's present. She was defeated by Tang San during the Battle of Jialing Pass, leaving her divine soul and shattered divine position behind. She identifies herself as the Qian Renxue associated with the Martial Soul Empire. 226

After awakening in a cave, Qian Renxue encountered Lin Chen and initially treated him with annoyance and caution. Lin Chen recognized her identity and negotiated for her assistance: he would help revive her and settle her conflict with Tang San, while she would help him become a god. 16
