Judging by the time, the elevator had already risen at least four or five thousand meters. They weren't just going up to the top floor of a hotel; they were heading to the uppermost level of this enormous space city.

Its circular floor was made of some unknown silver-gray material, seamlessly joined with no visible traces of any panels. Patterns formed from different-colored spirit elements created an intricate, magnificent spiritual array across the floor, yet it looked not the least bit chaotic.
Above the floor, the surrounding walls and ceiling formed one seamless dome as well, but they were made of a transparent material that was nearly invisible to the naked eye. Once inside, it felt as if one were facing the boundless expanse of outer space. A single glance made it seem as though the darkness might swallow you whole.
Stars hid beyond the almost invisible firmament, scattering faint, mottled starlight across the spiritual array, as if breathing life into its delicate patterns.
Looking closer, one could see spiritual light slowly flowing through the patterns, making the entire array seem to come alive.
