Faced with his friend's question, Eisen and Xiaobai looked at each other. In the end, Xiaobai, the local expert of New Shenzhou, answered:
"Actually, when the early builders of the star sector first arrived here, we already felt that this star system had great potential. There are five frozen Earth-like planets within a single star system. The rich ore deposits that can be surveyed on the surfaces of the two lava planets are extraordinarily abundant. There's even zero-element ore. That supermassive blue gas giant also has two planets that can be terraformed. At least based on what we've detected so far, they should be no worse than Titan."
Although Tamir didn't quite understand why Xiaobai had suddenly started going on about the planet's entire past and present, he still nodded. "I heard Professor Zhuang say that if the magnetic field here weren't so chaotic, this should be a very prosperous star system."
He paused. "I've also heard a rumor that the reason the earliest explorers and colonists at the time crossed the Shanhai Passage to colonize this place was actually because they were after the Tianshu Star System."
Xiaobai gave a bitter smile. "It wasn't a rumor. It was true. You all know that our ancestors discovered the Shanhai Passage and New Shenzhou while exploring the Far Shore Star Sector, right? Back then, based on the readings returned by the gravitational-wave stellar detector carried aboard their exploration ship, they really did discover a star system within New Shenzhou that contained multiple Earth-like planets. Moreover, their own perceptions, as well as those of the navigators, all gave positive feedback."
Of course, the data obtained by a gravitational-wave stellar detector might very well reflect the state of the star system hundreds or even thousands of years ago. But no matter how you
