Krell Belmont was certain that Miss Fina Lee had been waiting here for them for some time, and that she had gotten the news from Yani.
Even so, at Yani's command, he instinctively slowed down and pulled over, stopping right in front of Miss Lee. The car door opened automatically. She glanced at the hologram "sitting" in the passenger seat, pondered for a moment, then smiled and headed straight for the back seat.
"Thanks for all your hard work, Brother Krell," she greeted the driver, using Yu Lian's way of addressing him.
Krell immediately felt a sense of warmth. "It was nothing, Miss Fina. Given the current situation, seeing that you're safe and sound is the best news I could hope for. I'll have good news to report to my little brother Yu Lian, too."
Yani added, "That's right. For your little brother Yu Lian's sake, you'd better protect Fina well in a little while."
Krell had only just started moving again when he nearly drove into the flower bed beside the road. It took him almost half a minute to compose himself. Then, he asked cautiously, "So Miss Fina is coming with me?"
"I'm not taking part in the operation. I'm just a newbie in the second ring, utterly helpless in a fight," Fina said.
The Rainbow Rose Princess shot her best friend a meaningful glance and smiled. "Right, she won't be taking part in the operation. She'll only be here as a witness. She's Blue Star Commonwealth's resident military attaché, as well as a renowned artist with plenty of supporters. No one is better qualified to bear witness from a third-party perspective. Miss Fina will carefully document our operation, providing objective evidence and historical records from a third party. She might even cut it into an excellent documentary.
