Of course, since she had appeared as a celestial Jianmu elf, Little Gray had finally gone for a suitably sci-fi look.
She had put on a form-fitting G-suit that showed off her flawless figure to just the right degree. However, she had also cut inexplicable openings into the collar, chest, abdomen, and waist, revealing the fair skin simulated by her nanomachines. For all its sci-fi flair, the outfit even had a hint of sex appeal.
On top of that, she had donned what looked like mechanical "armor plates" over her shoulders, forearms, calves, and arches of her feet. On closer inspection, they looked more like parts of a ship's outer structure.
So that was it. A shipgirl. Yu Lian gave Little Gray the once-over, but found it rather dull.
"Isn't this the ship spirit you're so fond of?" Feifei nudged Yu Lian in the waist with her elbow.
Yu Lian sighed, his face full of disappointment.
"What's with that look?" Little Gray planted her hands on her hips and grumbled. "Shouldn't you show a little respect for your big sister Gray 2.0, now that she has the body of a dreadnought?"
"He's just a little disappointed." Feifei smiled, a hint of silent teasing in her expression. "A famous sex symbol could strip down and dance on a pole, and it still wouldn't do a thing for a pervert's threshold. A veteran of the pleasure houses only wants to see a respectable girl fall from grace."
Yu Lian had to admit that the comparison seemed pretty apt, but it still stung.
"Besides, I was only describing things. I didn't mean to make a comparison or insinuate anything," she added with a perfectly straight face.
"True. When all's said and done, male social carbon-based organisms are just that shallow." Little Gray nodded
