All right, though that explanation was a little idealistic, Feifei was so certain that Yu Lian couldn't find a good reason to argue with her.

Besides, across both his lives, he wasn't particularly familiar with the Eight Rings. He'd have to wait until she returned before making any plans.

To make the relocation easier, Feifei used her command authority to requisition more than a hundred Bifangs on the spot.

Watching the round, bouncy robots transform and combine into unmanned cargo planes was quite a sight, but the Empire's people on the ground weren't around to see it.

Of course, gathering and relocating the zero-element was a delicate task that would take some time. While they waited, Feifei and the others also found the data terminal for the Si Palace archives. That was just a little something extra after the main course.

Once they'd connected to the Silent, Lieutenant Hines and his team cracked the firewall in less than half a minute and began copying the files.

They had no idea whether any of it would prove useful, but they could sort that out after downloading it.

Feifei wasn't especially interested in the flood of information, but her intuition drew her attention at once to a departure record from the Planetary Shipping Administration, dated two weeks earlier.

A cruise ship belonging to the Sreen royal family had left Slenburg two weeks ago, bound for Ironspike Peak.

"So the little Si King is at Ironspike Peak right now?" Yu Lian asked, surprised. "What would a newly enthroned High Elector want at the largest POW camp in this star sector? Don't tell me she thinks all her retainers are still loyal to her predecessor and too inconvenient to work with, so she's planning to recruit a few capable people from among the prisoners?"
