On June 1, 843 of the Common Era, the movie section of the Nefi Star Network was as bustling as ever.
The newly released Skull Squadron was drawing an especially lively crowd. Beneath the livestream window, comments exploded like a supernova.
@PotatoPlanterLuo (IP location: Lotak Star Sector): It's already been ten years. Director Fei has finally released a film! Do you know? I've watched Cold Hill forty-seven times, and every time I've found a new way to cry. Is this one about a flying squadron?
@BorderlandResident (IP location: unknown region of Fermo): I'm in Fermo, just arrived at Donkey-on-a-Pole. There are three whole blocks of people lined up outside the cinema here. Nefians, Earthlings, Angbarans, Kwefis, Eros, even Imperials are all mixed together in the queue.
@NewWorldPioneer (IP location: Southern Heavenly Gate): I'm about to go dig sand at New Jade Gate. Too bad there's no premiere here... Wait, why do they have the film in Fermo?
@Director Fei's Number One Fangirl (IP location: Nefi): What's so surprising? As long as they aren't fighting over there, Fermo's right at the cutting edge. The freest place in the entire universe is Fermo.
@Fermo Land God (IP location: Canchuan): Seriously, come to Fermo. This is a truly free paradise!

@Nefi Film Review Bot (V-verified: Independent Critic): A rational discussion: can Fina Li win her second Yagomi award with this film? Technically, she's still nowhere near the top. The reason she won the award back then was really the result of Universal's PR campaign. Now she's been away for another ten years, and she's tackling both an epic historical subject and commercial filmmaking. I don't think she'll succeed this time. This is destined to be a disastrous, hugely expensive chapter in film history.
