Yanié glanced at the aircraft approaching them, then at Fifi, and flipped a switch. The steel armor covering her body immediately peeled away and reshaped itself, transforming back into the heavy Infernal-type motorcycle.
Of course, the bike was in pretty rough shape now. Half the seat and the engine had vanished. They were, naturally, among the armor and machinery fragments Fifi had torn off during the chase.
"Just the repair bill will cost as much as three or four armored airships designed for atmospheric flight," Yanié said irritably. "Fina, do you realize that your impulsive behavior could cost the freedom fighters two production lines for AKs and 107s?"
"Considering your usual spending habits, it'll only cost you one or two custom outfits from Teranfi," Fifi said with a smile. "I wouldn't mind another fight."
