The teacup shattered with a crash. Tannophineas's expression changed dramatically. "What did you say? Lu Yin's back? He's not dead?"
Across from him, a Dark Phoenix Clan cultivator stood pale-faced, his forehead beaded with sweat. "Yes. Lu Yin isn't dead. He—he's back."
Tannophineas sank heavily back into his chair and let out a deep, weary sigh. He hadn't died after all.
The Lu Yin of today was different from the Lu Yin of seven months ago. Back then, they could form an allied army to resist the Eastern Frontier Alliance and deal with him. But now, remembering Glory Hall's support for Lu Yin, his current status, and how he had killed two Imprinters in battle, Tannophineas could only feel helpless.
"Pass down the order. The Dark Phoenix Clan will close its doors to visitors and seal itself off for a hundred years. We'll see no outsiders," Tannophineas said, exhausted.
"Yes, Clan Head."
In the Simmer Star Cluster, Yan Chen was stunned. "Lu Yin's back?"
Across from him, Captain Shi nodded, his expression grave. "I never expected him to come back alive. The Outer Universe has only been peaceful for a few months, and now it's about to plunge into chaos again."
Yan Chen gazed toward the stars. "This is trouble. He's now the commander-in-chief of the Outer Universe allied forces. With his fearless nature, who knows what kind of mess he'll make?"
"The biggest issue is how much support he has from Glory Hall. Master Yuan personally ordered that the Eastern Frontier Alliance be protected and that no one lay a hand on Lu Yin's family or friends. That shows how highly Master Yuan regards him," Captain Shi said.
Yan Chen sighed deeply. "Forget it. It has nothing to do with us. We never made an enemy of him."
