Ku Wei rolled his eyes. "Those guys are as slippery as they come. They don't make a move until the very last moment. How could you possibly see them?"
"We'll talk about your affairs later. I'm heading out now to snatch something." Lu Yin clenched his fist and grinned.
Ku Wei blinked. "Snatch something? What?"
Lu Yin gave him a sly smile. "The Dark Phoenix Clan sealed off their territory for a hundred years, using sixteen layers of Black Flame to lock down the continent. I snatched fifteen layers. Now I'm going to take the last one too."
Ku Wei was surprised. "That's pretty shameless, isn't it?"
Lu Yin raised an eyebrow and gave him an unfriendly look.
Ku Wei hurriedly changed his tune, chuckling awkwardly. "I said that wrong. I meant it sounds fun. Really fun! Haha!"
Lu Yin raised a hand and draped it over Ku Wei's shoulder. "If it sounds fun, then come along."
Ku Wei's eyes darted around again. "All right, I'll accompany Your Highness. But we have a deal: in the New Universe, you have to go with me to Ancestor Chen's Great Tomb."
"We'll see, we'll see," Lu Yin said.
"Is Your Highness not curious about Ancestor Chen's Great Tomb? I heard there's even a love poem Ancestor Chen wrote for a woman inside. I wonder if it's true."
"Of course it's fake. It sounds like a rumor as soon as you hear it."
"Not necessarily. People say it's very convincing. They just can't read the words."
"If they can't read the words, how do they know it's a love poem?"
