Star Picking Girl spoke softly. "True Martial Night King became the leader of the Ten Deciders because he promised to inherit the Star Tower as quickly as possible and help the others deal with those people from the New Universe."
"They believed him?" Lu Yin asked, puzzled.
"They had no choice but to believe him," Star Picking Girl said. "It was an opportunity. Otherwise, facing so many top experts from the New Universe, even if the Ten Deciders really were invincible, they couldn't withstand a succession of battles."
"How many people from the New Universe are competing for the Star Tower?" Lu Yin asked.
"Many. Every major power is qualified to send people. There used to be a limit on the number, but not this time. Anyone who wants to go can. The Ancestor Realm is an opportunity, and what it tests isn't just strength, but also luck."
Lu Yin understood. It was about being chosen by fate. Some people might be weaker, yet have a greater connection to the inheritance and thus find it easier to reach the Ancestor Realm.
