At that question, quite a few people turned to look.
Jin He shrugged. "Personal grudge. There's not much to say."
"Lu Yin snuffed out one of the Inner Universe's hopes of producing a Starry Sky Five Son. Don't you think that's a shame? After all, he can't even take part in the Star Tower competition himself," the little girl asked.
Jin He smiled. "After all that, do you even know what the Star Tower competition is?"
The little girl shook her head, her eyes shining. "Are you willing to tell us?"
Jin He smiled. "No."
The little girl was speechless.
"Who says the Starry Sky Five Sons are guaranteed to surpass the Ten Arbiters?" Jin He said at last. His long hair fluttered, though there was no wind.
The little girl actually started crying. So that was what was really abnormal—he was way too arrogant, and he was messing with her, too. She wanted to go home.
Just then, everyone suddenly looked up behind them. In the starry sky, a man tore through the void and emerged. His expression icy, he arrived at the assembly point.
"Who's that?"
"Is he qualified to compete for the Star Tower, too?"
"That can't be right."
The man's expression was cold. He said nothing and stood there quietly.
Jin He told the little girl to go interview him.
The little girl had learned her lesson. She wouldn't go even if someone beat her to death. She'd already interviewed everyone she needed to, anyway. If it came to it, she'd just quit.
"So it's Young King Ye. You've been frozen for thousands of years, waiting for this day?" Star Picking Girl appeared and spoke to the cold-faced man.
Everyone was confused at first, but then someone remembered.
Jiu Hao lowered her barrel of wine.
