Huan Sha nodded. "Yes, every war."

"Are internal wars in the Technology Starfield frequent?" Lu Yin asked Hui Kong.

"Very frequent," Hui Kong said. "Yiben City and Chuangtian Institute are like two separate entities of the Main Brain, and they have plenty of conflicts. Yiben City is the one that acts against our Human Starfield. Chuangtian Institute is different, which is why I've spent most of my time within its territory."

"Can you figure out exactly how much material has disappeared?" Lu Yin asked Huan Sha.

Huan Sha shook her head. "There's far too much. These records only cover recent events, not everything."

Lu Yin and Hui Kong exchanged a look. If materials had disappeared from only Yiben City or Chuangtian Institute, it wouldn't have been strange. Someone deliberately stealing materials was perfectly plausible. But with materials disappearing from both sides, something was off. It seemed more likely that the wars were being fought to make certain materials disappear, rather than the materials simply vanishing as a consequence of war.

Could someone be manipulating the wars between Yiben City and Chuangtian Institute from behind the scenes? Who? The Main Brain?

Lu Yin knew that Yiben City was backed by the Sixth Continent, while Chuangtian Institute was backed by the Wang family.
