At the Rose Empire's fortress, Lu Yin watched the die slow to a stop. Six pips. His eyes widened. What great luck—he'd rolled a six right off the bat.

The light clusters in the mysterious space were all dim. Lu Yin looked around, at a loss for words. None of them seemed worth fusing with. This was the first time he'd encountered such a situation. He had no choice but to fuse with one at random; otherwise, he might have to wait until he'd used up all his Star Energy Marrow before he could leave.

He randomly entered one of the light clusters and opened his eyes. Huh? This felt familiar. It wasn't a human, a giant beast, or a Corpse King. Was this a Mechanical Ant?

Lu Yin was astonished. He'd fused with one of those Mechanical Ants again—and it was still only at Hunting Realm strength. No wonder the light cluster had been so dim. With his current strength, Hunting Realm was far too weak.

Lu Yin turned his antennae and looked around. Mechanical Ants packed the area as far as the eye could see. The scene was much like the one he'd witnessed before. He controlled the Mechanical Ant's body, jumped onto the one in front, then leaped onward, heading ahead. He'd done the same thing last time, but there had been so many Mechanical Ants that he couldn't see the end of them.

This time, though, Lu Yin saw something. Beyond the endless swarm of Mechanical Ants—whether in front of them or behind, he couldn't tell—materials were being transported in. The ones carrying them were Cleaners.

As the scene shifted, Lu Yin returned to his body. He didn't move, simply pondering in silence.
