The old man sneered and raised a hand, just about to attack, when he suddenly staggered back several steps. His face went pale, then flushed, and he abruptly fixed his gaze on Lu Yin. "The power of Essence, Qi, and Spirit?"
Lu Yin was surprised. The Empty Clarity Palm had barely affected him. This old bastard might not have been stronger than Jiu Han in battle, and he certainly didn't have as many ways to save himself, but years of cultivation had left him without any obvious weaknesses in either his Essence, Qi, and Spirit or his physical body.

Should he attack, or not?
"He's hesitating. Let's get out of here," Xin Nü whispered to him. She didn't want to take a risk; the other man was a powerful Imprinter, after all.
Lu Yin said calmly, "He saw more than just me. He saw you, too. So he can't leave today." As he spoke, his eyes snapped open. White Night Praise.
Essence, Qi, and Spirit swept across the sky, covering the old man in an instant. Flames spread
