Commander De's expression changed, and his voice dropped. "May I ask who has come aboard?"
As everyone watched, a figure gradually came into focus. "Heavenly Arrow Battle Group, would you like to join my Leien Battle Group?"
Commander De recognized him and grew extremely wary. "Ghost."
The newcomer was Ghost, one of Big Sister's mercenaries.
Ghost stared at Commander De. "Have you still not made up your mind? The Commander isn't very patient. How about I ask Big Sister to come out and talk to you herself?"
Sweat dripped from Commander De's forehead. He looked rough and uncouth, but that was just a disguise. He had brought Lu Yin to the Upside-down Sea because he was afraid, and now, facing Ghost—and that terrifying Big Sister—he was just as afraid.
Hai Dalù stepped forward. "Brother Ghost, we're here to escort Alliance Leader Lu."
Ghost acted as if he hadn't heard him, keeping his gaze fixed on Commander De.
The members of the Heavenly Arrow Battle Group around them looked grim. They had no idea how this would end. Would they really have to join the Leien Battle Group today?
Hai Dalù looked to Lu Yin for help.
Lu Yin smiled. "Uncle, let's leave it for today. We can talk about it another time. We're all making our living in the Cosmic Sea, after all. You can't run away."
Ghost finally looked away from Commander De and turned to Lu Yin. His normally cold eyes warmed. "As long as you're all right. The Commander was worried about you."
"Let's go," Lu Yin said.
Ghost ignored the Heavenly Arrow Battle Group and stepped away, returning to the Leien Battle Group's ship.
Lu Yin turned back to the members of the Heavenly Arrow Battle Group and smiled. "Sorry for the trouble on the way
