King Ye heard the discontent in Lu Yin's voice and smiled. "Alliance Leader Lu, just watch. This flower is the strangest plant I've ever seen in my life. No—not even the ancient texts have ever recorded anything like it. Its most remarkable feature is that it can produce all kinds of food. I don't know how it does it, any more than we can explain our innate gifts. This flower, too, defies explanation: it can produce food, like roast meat or exquisite dishes."

Lu Yin was surprised. There was such a thing?

"I've examined the food, too. It's made from real ingredients, as if someone had moved food they'd prepared here," King Ye said.

Lu Yin raised an eyebrow. "Then I'll have to see for myself. How long does it take?"

"It's hard to say. Alliance Leader Lu, you came here to research immortality. I can tell you that I have no leads on that, but I do know a little about space—and it has to do with this flower," King Ye said confidently.

Lu Yin looked at him. "You studied space through it?"

King Ye nodded. "How should I put it? After studying it all this time, I've realized that space may not exist at all. It could just be an illusion created by human understanding. Take this flower: I don't believe it creates things from nothing. It must be bringing food made by someone else through space. But space means nothing to it."

Lu Yin thought of the Wireless Gu. Space seemed to mean nothing to it, either.

"I brought you here not only to show you this flower's wonders, but also because I'd like to study space with you. As far as I know, Alliance Leader Lu also has something said to ignore space—a Gu," King Ye
