Beneath the stone pillar stood a man, silent and nearly two meters tall. An oppressive aura radiated from him, bending the grass in every direction beneath his feet as though an invisible force pressed down on it. When Lu Yin arrived, the man's gaze swept over him, his sharp eyes full of menace.
"Mr. Hao Yu?" the man asked, his gaze cold and intensely aggressive.
Lu Yin walked closer. "That's me. And you are?"
"Xia Shen Guang," the man replied slowly.
Lu Yin looked surprised, then smiled. "I've heard of you. The most outstanding young man of the current generation in the Xia family of Divine Martial Heaven, and the only expert of the Shen generation."
Xia Shen Guang regarded Lu Yin calmly. "I can't see through you. Your cultivation may have reached the Star Envoy level, but that won't stop me from challenging you."
Lu Yin blinked, confused. "Challenge me? Why?"
"Wen Zhao," Xia Shen Guang said coldly.

"Then make a public statement clarifying things in front of every instructor and student at Yixian Academy, and apologize to Wen Zhao. Then we'll consider the matter settled." Xia Shen Guang spoke as if this were the obvious way to handle things, looking down at Lu Yin.
Lu Yin found it amusing. "The truth speaks for itself. Besides, I've only met Mr. Little Wen once. Why should I apologize? I'm not the one who damaged her reputation."
Xia Shen Guang said flatly, "Apologize or accept my challenge. Choose one."
