For a Half-Ancestor, crossing the battlefield between formation bases was simple. Kuang Yan wasn't the first to cross, and he certainly wouldn't be the last. Before him, Commanders and formation cores had crossed between the bases. It was commonplace.
Kuang Yan took two steps to the midpoint of the empty stretch between the Fourth Formation Base and the Fifth Formation Base. He stared at the enormous Prison Dragon in the distance, his expression shaken.
He had spent so many years on the Backside Battlefield, yet had never been this close to an Ancestral Realm powerhouse. Whenever an Ancestral Realm powerhouse from the Eternal Clan descended, the Dominion Realm would stop them. The closest one had come was Corpse God of the Seven Gods Heaven, who had tried to overturn the Infinity Power Formation some time ago. Even then, Corpse God had been quite far away.
The Prison Dragon raised its eyes and looked at Kuang Yan. He was a Half-Ancestor, after all, and years of fighting on the Backside Battlefield had made his killing intent astonishingly intense, bright as a beacon.
With the Prison Dragon's gaze fixed on him, Kuang Yan's expression turned solemn. He took another step. The pressure was immense, but the greater the pressure, the more he wanted to get closer. That was his nature. That was why he was Mad Commander.
Suddenly, the Prison Dragon's eyes widened as it stared in Kuang Yan's direction.
Kuang Yan was startled by the Prison Dragon's reaction, thinking it was about to attack him. The Prison Dragon was under control and might be harmless, but it was still a living creature. What if it took a bite out of him?
