Lu Yin had only taken one hit. He quickly came to, then suddenly struck out in the darkness of the void. Ghost Marquis had originally planned to take Lu Yin to the Giant Beast Starfield, but Lu Yin's sudden attack sent them both tumbling out of space and crashing into the ruins of a long-abandoned tribe.
They slammed into the ground and immediately separated.

Ghost Marquis glared at him, eyes bulging. "Human, you're asking to die!" As he spoke, he took out that piece of skin again, held it between his claws, and slapped it toward Lu Yin. Lu Yin's eyes flashed. He took out a piece of skin of his own and slammed it at Ghost Marquis. He'd just remembered that he had an identical piece, which he'd obtained after rolling a one on the dice. His piece was much larger than Ghost Marquis's.
Ghost Marquis hadn't expected Lu Yin to have a piece of skin too. He let out a horrified scream, as if he couldn't believe it, then Lu Yin smashed him hard into the ground. "Shut up."
"You—how do you have that thing? It's impossible! This belongs to our starfield. Why would a human have it?" Ghost Marquis shrieked.
Lu Yin frowned, snatched Ghost Marquis's piece of skin, and tossed it into his Void Ring. It was best not to look at the thing. Even a glance could affect you.
