The second star exploded. Yi Ren coughed up blood and his eyes flew open. One of them suddenly turned bloodred, exactly like the one Yang Yi had seen underground.
The difference was that ripples appeared in his bloodred pupil. A tentacle suddenly burst out of it and lashed toward Lu Yin. At the same time, countless tentacles coiled around Yi Ren, wrapping him tightly.
Lu Yin hurriedly dodged. What was that thing?
The tentacles were grayish brown, like soil, and covered in disgusting slime. As they appeared, the number of runes they brought with them surged sharply, no less than Yi Ren's own.
Lu Yin looked at Blood Ancestor, who was just as bewildered. "I've never seen Yi Ren use anything like this."
Starburst. Lu Yin didn't waste time talking. He detonated the star at once, while using rune lines and numbers to erase Yi Ren's power.
The rune lines and numbers of an Ancestral realm expert had erased much of Yi Ren's Ancestral realm power. A starburst should have been enough to badly wound him with ease; he was much like Xia Shenji's Ancestral realm avatar. Yet the force of the exploding star couldn't break through the tentacles wrapped around him. The tentacles snapped and grew back, looking disgusting but possessing unimaginable toughness. They stubbornly withstood the starburst.
At that moment, it wasn't just Lu Yin and Blood Ancestor who were staring blankly at Yi Ren, wrapped in tentacles. Countless people inside the Eternal Kingdom were, too. A dignified Ancestral realm expert looked like a horrifying monster.
The disc suddenly broke free of the suppression imposed by the Ancestral realm rune lines and numbers. Yi Ren reached a hand out through the tentacles and grabbed it. The tentacles spread around him, and he appeared before everyone.
The moment they
