After a full twelve days, the selection finally ended. Of the more than one hundred thousand candidates, only seventeen hundred passed and earned permission to go to the Six Directions Dojo.
Lu Yin had been leisurely drinking tea. He only went out after receiving word that someone would soon come to collect them.
"Holy—brother-in-law?" Luo Lao Er cried out.
Zuo Yu, Mu Duo, and the others stared blankly as Lu Yin stepped out of the spacecraft. They were all dumbfounded; no one had expected to find him here.
Lu Yin smiled and greeted them.
"Brother-in-law, what are you doing here?" Luo Lao Er asked.
Lu Yin was just as puzzled. "How can a hostage like you go to the Six Directions Dojo?"
"You came here ages ago?" Zuo Yu asked in surprise.
Quite a few people were watching. Most didn't know Lu Yin, and seeing him emerge from a spacecraft, they were all displeased. They had gone through a grueling selection to get here, while this guy had apparently used connections to jump the queue.
Still, no matter how annoyed they were, no one dared cause trouble for Lu Yin. Getting in through connections meant he had powerful backing and status. They weren't stupid enough to make enemies carelessly.
Some did want to befriend him, but Lu Yin wasn't interested. What he wanted most right now was to learn about the Six Directions Dojo, and he could simply ask Luo Lao Er about that.
Though Luo Lao Er had only just gotten his own qualification, he was remarkably well-informed about rumors. It was strange enough that a hostage could enter the Six Directions Dojo.
"Brother-in-law, you don't know much about the Six Directions Dojo?" Luo Lao Er asked. He and Lu Yin stood in a corner, waiting for someone to
