"Wasn't there supposed to be a major secret auction? Why hasn't it started yet?"
"Let's wait a little longer. Maybe they need more time to prepare for a major secret auction."
"Even so, someone should've told us. We've been waiting for ages."
Another hour passed. "I've got cultivation to do. When the hell is this starting? If it's not starting, I'm leaving."
"That won't do. We came all this way and wasted time we could've spent cultivating. We can't leave empty-handed."
"Where's Luo Lao Er? That guy told me about this. Get him out here to explain," someone said.
"That guy told me about it too."
"Old Jiu told me."
"Old Jiu told me too."
"Kang Lao Di told me."
"Where'd all those guys go?"
Luo Lao Er was starting to worry. "Why hasn't it started yet? Come on, hurry up. My heart can't take this." If there was no secret auction, a lot of people would come after him.
Another hour passed quickly. They'd already been waiting there for three hours, and some had arrived much earlier and waited five or six. The atmosphere grew more and more tense.
A scream drew everyone's attention.
"Old Jiu, you still think you can run?" someone roared.
A man wearing a vase mask tried to flee in a panic, but he was quickly caught. "I don't know! I wasn't messing with you! Someone really did tell me to spread the word. I wouldn't dare mess with you, not even if I had ten times the guts!"
"Someone told you to spread the word, so you did?" One man raised his hand and slapped him.
Luo Lao Er instinctively covered his face and shrank behind Lu Yin.
Old Jiu screamed, "The person who told me to spread the word said he'd give
