The Three Monarchs Space-Time was divided into three domains: the Lower Wang Star Domain, the Upper Wang Star Domain, and the Imperial Domain. Only people from the Imperial Domain could move freely between the Upper Wang Star Domain and the Lower Wang Star Domain. People from those two star domains had a hard time entering the Imperial Domain; they could only do so through connections.
There were, however, a few people who could travel between all three domains. Jing Xing was one of them.
As humanity developed beyond its primitive state, the economy became an important part of its growth. Like Mebis Bank, Jing Xing regulated the economy of the entire Three Monarchs Space-Time.
Jing Xing's headquarters in the Imperial Domain was ring-shaped and enormous, larger than a planet. It turned slowly, as if a clock had been fitted over the Imperial Domain.
Knock, knock, knock. A man stood outside the door, looking apprehensive.
"Come in," a woman's voice called. It sounded steady and brisk, with the weight of years behind it.
The man entered and bowed. "Jing Xing."
A woman sat before him. She wasn't particularly beautiful, but she had the kind of looks that grew on you. Her eyes were sharp; the moment she looked up, it seemed she could see straight through a person. The man's heart trembled beneath her gaze. "Well?"
He answered respectfully, "It hasn't reached the threshold yet."
"Go check again," the woman said, lowering her head to look at something.
The man went out. After thinking it over, he knocked again.
"Come in."
He stepped before the woman. "Jing Xing, it's reached the threshold. We can replenish it."
"Mm," she replied. "Good work."
"Thank you, Jing Xing." The man wiped the sweat from his forehead. His job was to check whether the Rainbow
