The Demon Emperor's expression was stern, but under the pressure from Lu Yin and Leng Qing, he still managed a strained smile. "There's no such thing as the Heavenly Demon Empire anymore. We're all disciples of the same sect. Sect Master, please don't joke."
Lu Yin smiled. "There's nothing wrong with it. The Heavenly Sect is a human sect, but it doesn't forbid you from privately establishing a family power."
At Lu Yin's gesture, the Demon Emperor sat across from Leng Qing.
He hadn't wanted to sit across from Leng Qing. She constantly exuded an edge sharper than she had before becoming an Ancestor. She should have become more restrained after breaking through, but to the Demon Emperor, Leng Qing seemed ready to strike at any moment.
"Starry Sky Giant Beasts are unruly and difficult to tame. They even imitate humans, establishing all kinds of civilized cities and academies. Leng Qing replied stiffly, "Humans will always be the masters of all things. We may not necessarily be born with bodies or intelligence superior to Starry Sky Giant Beasts, but humans excel at creation and are willing to weave lies to refine civilization.
