Lu Yin had a headache. He could already imagine it: the universe was vast, and it had all kinds of monsters. A phoenix with deer antlers? Did such a thing even exist? It even came with three-colored light, yet it only ranked seventh on the Heavenly Beast Ranking. The Giant Beast Starfield truly hadn't been exaggerating when it claimed it could hold off the Human Starfield's attacks for countless years.
"Um, Seventh Brother, if you run into Feng Jiu, could you go easy on her?" Ghost Marquis asked hesitantly.
Lu Yin looked at him in surprise. "Why? Is she a friend of yours?"
"Ahem. Feng Jiu and I are just one confession away," Ghost Marquis said in a low voice.
Lu Yin's eyes widened in shock. "You? A monkey and an ice phoenix? That's possible?"
"Why wouldn't it be?" Ghost Marquis asked.
Lu Yin was speechless. Fine, he couldn't explain it. "Does Feng Jiu like you?"
"Of course. She has to," Ghost Marquis replied with utter confidence.
"Tell me about the last one," Lu Yin said. He didn't want to argue with Ghost Marquis about this.
"The last one is named Hou. Of the other four prefects, he's the only one I know nothing about. I once infiltrated his territory to investigate him, but he discovered me. There's only one thing I know about him: he's Butian's disciple," Ghost Marquis said gravely.
Lu Yin raised an eyebrow. "Butian? The Heavenly Demon Empire's Imperial Preceptor? You mean that mysterious giant beast whose status rivals the Star Gate's?"
"That's right. In the Giant Beast Starfield, Butian holds a status above all others. Even the Heavenly Demon Empire's emperor pays him the respect due to a teacher. No one knows what his true form is; they only know that his power is unfathomable.
