The woman's expression was utterly solemn.
Fei Su stared intently at Lu Yin. "You're human."
"Obviously."
"What do you have to do with those beasts?"
"They submit to me." The corner of Lu Yin's mouth curved slightly as he replied calmly.
Fei Su's pupils contracted. "Even that ten-ring creature on your shoulder submits to you?"
Lu Yin looked up. "That was your third question. I've answered it, so now you'll answer mine. Yes, it submits to me."
The woman's heart sank. The word "submit" meant it was a pet.
She used the mecha to probe his strength, but found no trace of it. She couldn't gauge him at all.
"Now it's your turn to answer my questions. But first, I'll give you a chance to conquer me. Make your move. I won't dodge." Lu Yin looked at the mecha in front of him.
Without hesitation, Fei Su raised the mecha's arm. It transformed into a long sword, which came crashing down.
The woman and the people inside the other two mecha stared intently, eager to see what kind of strength Lu Yin possessed.
Lu Yin stood where he was. The long sword descended from above, its strike powerful enough to cleave open the void. The entire planet trembled beneath it.
The blade came slamming down. Lu Yin raised a hand.
Heaven and earth fell silent. The wind stopped, and the ground no longer trembled. Everything became still—even the lake in the distance remained perfectly smooth.
The enormous sword froze in midair. Lu Yin had caught it with a single finger, and it could move no farther.
Fei Su stared at the sight, dumbstruck. Sweat dripped from his forehead.
The woman closed her eyes. Just as she'd expected. How could they hope to fight someone who could make a ten-ring creature
