It was only natural for the Nine Star Civilization to be wary after so many parallel space-times had fallen victim to the Eternal Clan's schemes.
The problem now was how he could prove that he was Mr. Mu's disciple.
If he couldn't prove it, he had no doubt that the old man in front of him would fight to the death. It looked like he was already preparing to do so.
"My master once left me a jade stone so I could contact him, but I used it. I can prove two things." Lu Yin met Kakaven's gaze and saw the bloodshot veins in his eyes. "First, I have two senior brothers. I don't know if you've heard of them. Second, my master has two signature techniques, and I inherited one of them."
Kakaven shook his head, his gaze growing calmer. The calmer he became, the more uneasy it made people feel. "We know nothing about Mr. Mu's signature techniques, and we know even less about his disciples."
Elder Chan said, "Everyone in Primeval Space knows that our Dao Master is Mr. Mu's disciple."
Kakaven wasn't convinced. He even doubted whether Lu Yin and the others were from Primeval Space, so how could he believe them? And he certainly wasn't going to verify their claim.
If Lu Yin and the others really had been sent by the Eternal Clan, they would surely have been confident they could fool any Nine Star Civilization cultivator who accompanied them to Primeval Space. Kakaven was cautious.
Lu Yin smiled wryly. "Whenever my master appears, he stops time. Does that count?"
Kakaven froze, then smiled. "So you really are Mr. Mu's disciple."
Lu Yin was stunned. He had only said it offhand.
Mimina was stunned too. That proved it? How?
