"That isn't Second Life? They actually dared to show up?"
"Shh—don't get yourself killed. Second Life is vicious, but powerful. If they set their sights on us, we're done for. Let's just focus on our own business."
"They want to bid, too. Would anyone else dare reveal their identity? The moment they take something, Second Life will target them."
"Not necessarily. It depends on who gets it. If Heaven's Sect gets it, Second Life wouldn't dare cause them trouble, even if you gave them ten times the nerve."
"That may be true, but Second Life isn't afraid to die."
Several members of Second Life strolled into the plaza, unconcerned. The murmurs around them had no effect.
"Big Brother, aren't we being too conspicuous this time? It goes against our rules." Second Meng adjusted her glasses. She wore a black sweater and oversized glasses, and she looked as adorable as her name suggested. But anyone who knew her understood how vicious she could be.
Second Gang grinned. "What are you afraid of? Which of these useless fools would dare attack us? As long as Fifth Sister isn't here, we'll be fine."
"We should still be careful. Someone from Heaven's Sect has come." Second Bone's expression was solemn. Coming here really was a risk. Heaven's Sect's call to arms had left them all wary, but they wanted to enter the Mirage Domain even more.
Over the years, they had stolen plenty of things and learned a great deal. They knew more about the Mirage Domain than most people did. It was an extraordinary place, and perhaps they could break through there. Once they did, what could the vast universe, Heaven's Sect, or the Eternal Clan do to them?
Their wish had never changed: to become the most feared beings in the universe.
